Like... some of us grew up with maybe one book at home, and it was the bible. And not everyone was able to read it.
Some of us went to the museum for the first, second, third, and fourth time on a class field trip that some guilty rich person paid for.
Really you look like an asshole on twitter's armchair making fun of poor kids that get to see a musical.
Its not that, it's that rich Ed reform money is used poorly. Theres a much better use than Hamilton tickets. And i like Hamilton
But that's just it: I think poor kids should get to see a high production, real musical. And Hamilton especially. @MitchellCares
Yeah, I don't disagree on that. Just think the Rock. Foundation doing this doesn't offset their harm towards inner city schools
Right, but it's not either/or. And the critiques I keep seeing aren't nuanced—they inevitably poke fun at hungry children. @MitchellCares
I keep seeing "Poor children need food, not Hamilton tickets!" by people who've never been hungry and always got tickets... @MitchellCares
Ah okay, well yeah I don't agree with that.
i appreciate you checking in, @MitchellCares
what what what? I am not really surprised people are saying this, people can be terrible, but I haven't seen it. horrible
..man folks will get mad at anything. At least the kids might learn something
are they mad about the contest to see Hamilton con la Hillary? Because I'll tell you what, I entered that shit...to see Hamilton
