Hard enough to void right to privacy and speak to reporters about any tragedy. For undocumented/queer people, the difficulty is compounded.

lets please not pretend though that we're talking about living in the shadows. No one's getting deported over this.

I would feel doubly vulnerable. Has to be a miserable feeling, even if likelihood of deportation is low.
