As we know, people of color are criminalized at a much higher rate than whites. Conveniently, this messes with their right to vote, too.

Some 2 million people can't vote because they're imprisoned. An additional 5 million or so can't vote because of a record. It's nuts.

Since former felon laws vary state to state, black former felons are 12 times more likely thank white former felons to not be able to vote.
