As you can see in the photo, it's nothing more than a stump. Was admiring it yesterday on my daily walk. I feel devastated.
Chopping down this fig tree comes on the heels of largely denuding that willow tree in the background, which sweeps into my backyard.
Los Angeles is like any other place in that people of color don't get a lot of trees and green space. We get what we plant. That's it.
