So... this isn't Los Angeles. It's a very specific and tiny slice of LA. Why are you defining this as LA, @Zumper? https://www.zumper.com/blog/2016/03/mapping-las-cheapest-and-most-expensive-rent-prices-march-2016/ …
Maps are incredibly powerful things. That's why I'm concerned about the way @Zumper is defining the boundaries of the City of Los Angeles.

Santa Monica, which is 71% white, is NOT in the City of Los Angeles. Yet
@Zumper includes it in its LA rental map.pic.twitter.com/v24mIUED4U

Yet Wilmington, which is 87% latino, very much IS in the City of Los Angeles. Yet nowhere to be found on
@Zumper's LA rental map. -
It's troubling that
@Zumper, a white SF-based company, gets to define what and where Los Angeles is. Centering white people, of course. -
Why include Beverly Hills (82% white), which isn't even in Los Angeles, but leave out Watts (99% people of color),
@Zumper? -
You've effectively made a racist map,
@Zumper. Please fix it. - 1 more reply
