When we read "decriminalized," we should understand that it means "decriminalized for white people good luck everyone else!"

If New York were serious about ending unnecessary public drinking arrests for *everyone*, it would legalize it. That's what it would take.

Same goes for marijuana: legalize it, New York. Otherwise, it's perpetuating a system wherein black and latino people are still targeted.
