Yes single white women have made big political strides. But why did credit them with leading the end of enslavement and lynching? Absurd.
Why didn't @rtraister credit single BLACK woman Harriet Jacobs with leading her own liberation? Doesn't work for her narrative, I guess.
I had to stop reading at that point. The myths are too deep in this article, and I rarely read fiction on Sunday nights before work Monday.
