So I got this email from @KristiPublicist at @SmithPublicity. Not the best subject line and it got worse from there.pic.twitter.com/DpCORfBaPk

Like, where do you get off putting PEOPLE OF COLOR in scare quotes?pic.twitter.com/evIAXRjRWu
And how in the world did you miss the BLACK in BLACK HISTORY MONTH??pic.twitter.com/6oq3ozbvxN
February is not People of Color History Month. It is Black History Month. Twitter even has a little emoji for it: #BHM
And then, to top it all off, @KristiPublicist has the gall to try to suggest I'm stupid, writing: "I'm sorry you didn’t take it that way."
First of all, @KristiPublicist, do not ever apologize for me doing or not doing something. You don't have that authority over me.
And, clearly, if anyone missed anything, @KristiPublicist, it's you. Maybe read your client's book, learn how to check your own privilege.
.@aurabogado well @KristiPublicist only has 56 followers. But today she may pick up more cuz #purplelivesmatter #greenlivesmatter
Also if I were the tacky white "expert" being pitched @aurabogado I'd tell @KristiPublicist "Don't insult the people you're pitching!"
