I understand people who think getting rid of the death penalty is ok, but want to keep life without parole because slippery slope. But...
The Supreme Court death penalty case was about a man sentenced to murder - because of something he SAID—was never accused of killing anyone.
Yes, you read that right. Glossip was sentenced to death because he supposedly asked a friend to kill someone. And that friend did so.
The slippery slope is already working—but in the opposite direction. That's how bad the state of the death penalty is in the U.S.
And the fact of the matter is that no one is innocent. Not me. Not you. Not anyone. We've all made terrible, immoral decisions.
