@aurabogado there's been a multitude of problems w the so-called "safety team" that clearly hasn't trained any of its volunteers. -
@ty_ushka My personal experience was with one person from the safety team who was fabulous—but they weren't making the ultimate decision. -
@ty_ushka I think the problem came from the top. I got a lot of defensive excuses that still feel rough when I think about them. -
@ty_ushka As a consequence, I plan to never return. I'd rather participate in spaces that make no claims about safety, you know? -
