Three Latinxs I personally know, who have not lived their lives as black people, are now claiming their Afro-Latino because of an ancestor.

If you're not black when you go to school, go to the hospital, apply for a job, when get pulled over, then you're not black. Sorry.

And I get that there's a stigma for Spanish and Portuguese last names. But if you're white, you're white. That includes white Latinos.

As I've said previously, if you're a white South African, your country of origin doesn't make you a person of color. You still white.
