I want to hold a little space here for non-black people of color. Mostly rhetorical questions, but feel free to weigh in.
-
-
What charts, infographics, exercises, etc, do non-black people of color use to confront anti-blackness in our families?
-
And are any of the resources about confronting anti-blackness in our families available in Spanish? Tagalog? Mandarin? Hindi? Arabic?
-
Because, personally, this is where I always get stuck. I can talk, talk again, and talk some more. But my family wants things to look at.
-
Personal favor: any anti-blackness infographics or cartoons in Spanish or Portuguese, please send them my way.
-
@aurabogado I don't know how helpful this is but I use the Casta paintings/chart that show how the Spanish used divide and conquer to -
@bayareachick1@aurabogado do you have a link to these ? -
@DancesWidLesbos@aurabogado though I will add that there are several examples &they vary in level of how much humanity they give non-whites

@aurabogado I avoid sharing articles cuz the literacy rate (eng & esp) of my fam is low - that can be frustrating & detract frm conversation -
@aurabogado I use images that ppl share on twitter or go directly to articles & break down some things. But I can only do that in person.
