I want to hold a little space here for non-black people of color. Mostly rhetorical questions, but feel free to weigh in.

I'm just going to add a quick note that most of the non-black people of color choosing to participate right bow are women. Like always.
-
As non-black people of color, what resources do you use to talk to friends and family about anti-blackness?
-
What charts, infographics, exercises, etc, do non-black people of color use to confront anti-blackness in our families?
-
And are any of the resources about confronting anti-blackness in our families available in Spanish? Tagalog? Mandarin? Hindi? Arabic?
-
Because, personally, this is where I always get stuck. I can talk, talk again, and talk some more. But my family wants things to look at.
-
Personal favor: any anti-blackness infographics or cartoons in Spanish or Portuguese, please send them my way.
-
@aurabogado I don't know how helpful this is but I use the Casta paintings/chart that show how the Spanish used divide and conquer to - 3 more replies

@aurabogado Yes, these situations have given me a way to confront my family and their antiblackness. -
@aurabogado In the past I've shown my family the incarceration rates of Black and Latino men, and that's usually what gets them started in -
@aurabogado seeing that A) there are parallels between Black and Latino experiences and that antiblackness is dividing us from uniting -
@aurabogado against white supremacy and B) that they need to show more compassion towards their fellow PoC. -
@aurabogado In my experience, it's always about emphasizing the need for compassion towards Black people, which is something that's become -
@aurabogado somewhat easier to do with all these extrajudicial killings done by the police.
