I want to hold a little space here for non-black people of color. Mostly rhetorical questions, but feel free to weigh in.
-
-
And, as non-black people of color, do we find moments like these provide fertile ground to confront friends and family's anti-black racism?
-
I'm just going to add a quick note that most of the non-black people of color choosing to participate right bow are women. Like always.
-
As non-black people of color, what resources do you use to talk to friends and family about anti-blackness?
-
What charts, infographics, exercises, etc, do non-black people of color use to confront anti-blackness in our families?
-
And are any of the resources about confronting anti-blackness in our families available in Spanish? Tagalog? Mandarin? Hindi? Arabic?
-
Because, personally, this is where I always get stuck. I can talk, talk again, and talk some more. But my family wants things to look at.
-
Personal favor: any anti-blackness infographics or cartoons in Spanish or Portuguese, please send them my way.
-
@aurabogado I don't know how helpful this is but I use the Casta paintings/chart that show how the Spanish used divide and conquer to - 3 more replies
