I just read that story in the @nytimes about lynching. Never once does it mention who did the actual lynching.

@aurabogado "AND, all those little squirrels are gone today and they don't want to talk about the "distant' relatives actions." -
@GloriaMalone "The squirrels have feels." -
@aurabogado "PETA too. What would MLK say?!" -
@GloriaMalone "MLK said squirrel feels matter most of all. Look it up!" -
@aurabogado "just listen to the squirrels and they will tell you what REALLY happened."

@aurabogado@GloriaMalone People are protesting a plaque for the victims of lynchings/hangings in my city b/c of "negative history moments". -
@Jay00789@aurabogado@GloriaMalone Irony just whispered into my ear: "They probably gladly go to Civil War reenactments, though." -
OMG! Civil war enactments in the south. What a sight to behold.
@EssTee11@Jay00789@aurabogado -
@GloriaMalone@EssTee11@aurabogado That thing about southerners saying, "The south will rise again" is something they believe in.

@aurabogado@GloriaMalone We have memorials, special cemeteries, statues for the Confederacy. But a plaque for three black guys is too much. -
@Jay00789@aurabogado When i was walking around dt ATL to MLK's home it was sickening to see park for racist thought leaders on the way. -
@GloriaMalone@aurabogado Guy from my high school. His house is literally on a Civil War Tour map because his dad has such a big collection. -
