I've been thinking a lot about @Microsoft's fascinating new HoloLens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aThCr0PsyuA#t=38 …
But I can't count myself as a fan of @Microsoft's HoloLens, because of its racist implications.

If you look at the
@Microsoft's HoloLens video, you'll notice there are some strategically placed black people toward the beginning of it. -
I mean, it's 2015, so even the white folks at
@Microsoft don't want to see an all-white commercial. -
But pay attention to who gets to *use*
@Microsoft's HoloLens in the video (hint: not black people) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aThCr0PsyuA#t=38 … -
What does it mean that
@Microsoft envisions a future without black people? -
Or, a better way to put it: what does it mean that
@Microsoft envisions a future in which black people don't use technology like HoloLens?

@aurabogado@Microsoft That guy on Mars. He was the token brown minority, right? -
@MaestroEstrada
@Microsoft Literally going to another planet.... Yeah. -
@aurabogado@Microsoft Other planets' life forms are equals. Blacks and browns here, not so much.
