What Google did is indefensible. I slept on it and decided that, given all the madness with @RapGenius, I'm leaving my @google for @bing.
@WebTheFox The difference to me is that there are independent regulatory bodies for international cycling. No such thing for search engines.

@aurabogado And in some ways there should be, but really is google doing that bad? They are trying to make better results for the customers -
@WebTheFox I do feel like it's bad, just choosing one website to punish among the many that do it (some much more aggressively than RG). -
@aurabogado At least Google is working to make it less harmful to the site and they are fixing the situation together. Not many receive that -
@WebTheFox True, although I'm just wary about how Google controls the entire process, you know? -
@aurabogado Yeah I know and I see it. But I feel like a regulator would make a even worst result by working backwards, not stopping enough -
@WebTheFox This seems tyrannical to me, tho. Google can accuse you of something, change your results, and you can't really do much about it. -
@aurabogado Yes but if it seems like it is monopolistic they will be liable through anti trust. If it is legitimate then its normally fine.
