@aurabogado Please stop calling the Latina inmate "crazy." (the one w/the vag shot) This is a peril of not seeing the whole series...1/2
@ColoredFrancie I'll stop calling her "crazy" if you stop asking me to watch anymore of the show.

@aurabogado For example, there are many episodes where Black women's lives/stories are centered and Piper's isn't touched. -
@marclamonthill I'll take your word that that's true--but even still, it's bothersome that those stories are authenticated by a white voice. -
@aurabogado I agree. I WISH we could have a show that centered Black women's experiences. I'd literally pay to make that happen... -
@marclamonthill I'd throw down to see Assata!

@aurabogado Hey Aura. My point wasn't that people need to watch it. I make decisions not to watch shows all the time, like Reality shows. -
@marclamonthill I hear that.

@aurabogado That doesnt negate the bigger/broader critiques of the show.But seems problematic to make specific critiques if not exactly true -
@marclamonthill Yet white peeps been substantiating what POC experience for long enough. Don't need to watch one episode to know that.

@aurabogado But I do think it's difficult to make particular critiques about a text without seeing it, as some may be untrue.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
