I’ve been trying to leave my house for an hour, but @Associa changed the code on the garage door, which won’t let me out. I called the emergency number, explained I need to leave for a reason related to my cancer. Maryann literally laughed at me.

And... Maryann called to apologize. I was able to communicate to her that she should never treat people this way. She seemed to take it in and said this was a learning moment for her. I wish it hadn’t come at my expense. But I’m trying to move on from morning mini horrror.

was it just the car/garage, or were you bodily trapped in your house? Either way, that’s some scary hostagetaking tech. i’d definitely be very pissed off about missing the appointment. Hope they try to make it up to you.

I'm sorry about what you're going through. I just lost my 44 year old sister to pancreatic cancer. And the process of going through chemo is the most painful process to watch a loved one go through. Sending you wishes of strength.
