I’ve been trying to leave my house for an hour, but @Associa changed the code on the garage door, which won’t let me out. I called the emergency number, explained I need to leave for a reason related to my cancer. Maryann literally laughed at me.

Michelle finally called, and she did apologize. I can finally leave my house. (Which is now useless, since I missed my appointment.)

And... Maryann called to apologize. I was able to communicate to her that she should never treat people this way. She seemed to take it in and said this was a learning moment for her. I wish it hadn’t come at my expense. But I’m trying to move on from morning mini horrror.

Go to the door and pull the cord hanging down to allow manual operation of the door. This will release the door from the door closing device. Then raise it by hand. Back your car out, then put it back down by hand. Take front door key with you and go.

In the last seven weeks, I’ve had a major surgery, a minor surgery, and a biopsy. I’m currently in chemo. I’m unable to pull anything more than five pounds. Trying to do so could land me in the hospital.
