“My mother... came to this country legally.” Hmm. Although there’s been a big focus on Melania Trump’s immigration history, no one’s really focused on Ivana Trump. I dug into a bit earlier this year. You may wanna pull a seat up for this one.https://twitter.com/axios/status/1025020133780205569 …

Ivana Trump then began coming to the United States for modeling gigs. She met Donald on one of those trips. He proposed. Stay with me, because here’s where it gets really interesting.

Ivana likely had a visa by the time. She was either in New York as a tourist or a worker. If someone proposes to you one when you’re on that kind of visa, you can get married right away and it’s legitimate before the United States. That’s not what happened in this case.pic.twitter.com/cGjxjqmVfH

Ivana returned to Canada to pack. Returning to the U.S. on a tourist or work visa, with the intent to marry, would be a big no-no in immigration law. We don’t know exactly what happened, but we do know Ivana waited 11 years to get her citizenship after her marriage to Donald.pic.twitter.com/lbenutaK3N

People do what they can to get to the U.S. They fake marriages. They cross borders. They get by on unauthorized labor. They have children, which are pejoratively called “anchor babies.” Her daughter said her mom came here “legally.” Care to clarify what you meant,
@IvankaTrump?Show this thread -
White europeans like Ivana Trump are less scrutinized. Imagine a Maya woman from Guatemala who flaunted a fake marriage just to get a passport. Only some people get to do this, get away with it, and then literally write a book about it... all without consequence.

No wonder Ivanka is coming out on this issue. Never too late to start a false narrative.

The truth can be so awkward.

I wonder if this information is enough to strip Ivana Trump her citizenship. Mr. Trump directed

Ivana pulled it off because of looks and money. Trumpublicans are fine with immigration when people have money. They never speak of the 600k+ Europeans who overstay their visas and are in the country illegally. It’s blatant bigotry against the persecuted & impoverished.

And against people who lack lily white skin

Color and money... Always the deciding factors

Now Canada needs to require Visas and other documentation to fly to their country from Mexcio to stop this illegal passage of immigrants from other countries. This is unfair to the U.S.A.!!

So why not Canada for the final destination of Mexican immigrants, now that they have found an easy way in? Yet they all want to come to us and what is so important about us over any other country?
