Hi Jesse. Yes, there are laws in Guatemala. Those laws meant nothing during its recent civil war that lasted nearly 40 years. The Guatemalan military, which was backed by the US, killed more than 30,000 indigenous peoples like Claudia during that time. It was a genocide. https://twitter.com/avalaraeon/status/1000085101122859008 …

She would still be alive if she hadn’t broken the law and tried to break into the country.

“Garbage human” - offered as a response when one cannot argue logically.

Exactly. Logic and ration does not support his world view so he resorts to responses like that.

You are the problem with our society. The victim was doing something illegal. She knew the consequences and if they don’t then maybe you should text all your buddies and tell them that being shot is a possibility if you cross our border illegally but I’m sure they already know.
-
Racist much?? And crossing the border illegally isn't punishable by a bullet to the head.
-
Illegal isn't racist! Our country has laws to abide by for everyone. Anyone coming into our country illegally knows there's a risk of danger just like when u rob a bank or make a drug deal. Police officers/border patrol risk their lives everyday, hv no idea what's out there.
-
Yep when you jaywalk that should be punishable by deathsquad. Just breaking the law folks.

Thinks it's okay to shoot people on site while fleeing from danger or persecution in their own country, coming to another country any way they know how to beg for asylum ... "Law abiding"

The rich use refugee status legally, the poor use "undocumented" means. Sort of like abortion where it's banned: rich travel abroad, poor 'phone a friend'. The rich w lawyers, passports & credit cards can afford republicanism, the poor need democracy to achieve the same.
