    Android devs - as far as I can tell, if I want a separate version of the app for QA and production, I have to create two apps in Google Play. Amirite?

    At this point I'd even take a 13" with a touch bar.. I mostly use an external keyboard anyway. Don't want the overhead of a discrete GPU and the size of a 15".

    Coding on side project at home on my old Mac Mini, and find myself really liking macOS. Wish I could replace my Dell XPS 13 with a Macbook Pro with an i9, 32gb ram and no touch bar..

    Do I know anyone who builds naive desktop apps (macOS, win10, ...)? Do you still do it 2008 style with imperative stateful mutable view hierarchies? Or do you have something declarative, like React or ComponentKit (iOS)?

    React Native is a pretty good choice now, but Airbnb etc had legitimate concerns and reasons for abandoning it. Facebook is now going to fix the biggest problem with RN, though:

    All instability of my Dell XPS was fixed when I replaced the Killer wifi/bluetooth card with an Intel. Now all I need is an external usb speaker/microphone for conference calls and my XPS is as good as a mac ;) Built-in speaker/mic is noisy.
