@attritionorg women in security need more open talk, I've managed a few,worked in a team that was 70% female (80+ staff), even marrying one. -
@jjturner there are companies that hire a disproportional # of females vs the rest of the industry. they just 'do', not 'advertise'. -
@attritionorg we hired the best candidates in the interviews, just happened to be women, no bias but roughly matched the ratio of applicants -
@jjturner yep. i am part of a company that hires on merit. gender has no meaning in the hiring process. we're ~ 40% female i think? -
