@attritionorg@ashedryden I expect Ashe means "people who work in tech without the appropriate visa", eg "did YC on a tourist visa"1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@hypatiadotca@ashedryden wouldn't it be obvious they didn't blog then, if undocumented in a manner that may risk deportation?3 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@attritionorg I definitely freak out a bit at the opsec implications of ppl blogging publicly about their experiences being undocumented...2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@hypatiadotca "there is an under-representation of people that blog about their experience doing$crime" = a non-starter to me.2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

@attritionorg I suspect we diverge pretty far on immigration stuff, "I'd like to read" is a different thing from "$foo is underrepresented"1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
@hypatiadotca how else do they represent that? they are concealing a crime essentially. why do either of you expect that info to be public?
