@drbearsec@wimremes Companies using our data for high-dollar commercial gain, without any contribution to the project (data, money, etc). -
@attritionorg I'm curious. In the case of http://theleakingvault.com/ where is evidence of financial gain? http://www.digitalforensicsassociation.org/ is also non-profit. -
@btaroli Things that are too difficult to explain in 140 characters for $100 Bill =) -
@attritionorg I'm sure there's more, but the way your email expresses it seems like pricing barriers to benefit partner company.#conflict -
@btaroli Did you read the entire email? -
@attritionorg indeed I have read it. -
@btaroli Curious where she published my full mail, and if she published follow-up mails, mails from RBS, transcript of call(s), etc. - 10 more replies

@attritionorg when did it change? Looks like the non-profit clause was still there last summer: http://web.archive.org/web/20110725220522/http://datalossdb.org/ … -
@hypatiadotca OSF is still NFP, but the data licensing requirement has been there for ages. NFP doesn't mean we can't make money. -
@attritionorg right, but the footer allowing NFP use w/o asking was removed sometime between now and July 2011. When? -
@hypatiadotca I'll have to ask@jkouns when that change was made. Big problem is that so much "NFP" use was not really NFP. - End of conversation
