RT @Wh1t3Rabbit: These are Senior Directors (some C-level) who have security as their responsibility, but not 'security people', <-- SEE?
@Wh1t3Rabbit remember several weeks ago, many chiming in that they thought you were dismissive? yeah, this tweet. #samething

@attritionorg I'm not dismissing your point or@jadedsecurity ... I think we see different viewpoints from where we sit, who we know, by job -
@Wh1t3Rabbit no offense, honestly. you visit with C-levels for a day. consultants work for them for weeks+. very different perspective. -
@attritionorg True. I get a day with them, move on... so I don't embed in the org- that's fair. I do talk to a LOT of them though... -
@Wh1t3Rabbit not doubting you at all for the # you talk to. far greater than I ever did.

@attritionorg I will say this... the more IT execs I meet with that tell me hoe "security" is wrong, the more I agree. From experience. -
@Wh1t3Rabbit you meet with them, get their prepared statements (essentially), see their public face. you don't see reality. -
@attritionorg Hold a sec though. Its not like I am a sales...I sit, whiteboard their strategy, tactics and its raw and open discussion. -
@Wh1t3Rabbit yes. for one day max. they give YOU a presentation. very different than leaving that and poking around their org during a test -
@attritionorg yes agreed...although not for too much longer ;)
