    Do you ever just think about how cool memory forensics is? Like, if you can get a memory sample, you managed to thread the eye of a needle by getting evidence that could literally DISAPPEAR at anytime. And then, you can see things the attackers didn't want you to see. 🤯

    The claim in the FTI forensics report on Bezos’ iPhone that, “due to end-to-end encryption employed by WhatsApp, it is virtually impossible to decrypt the contents of the downloader [.enc file]...” bugged me so much that I coded up how to do it:

    Can we talk for just a moment about really awful, poorly designed infosec training lab environments? Like ones being put in front of college students or new hires? That they have to get through to proceed? It’s 2020 and I keep seeing this crap.

    If your infosec training / CTF lab is buggy and slow, instructions have typos, and usability is crap because you haven’t like, set VM resolutions right, you are actively people away from this industry right when we should be hooking them. If you think I’m subtweeting you, I am.
