The 'terrorist' protests were found with a cache of chemical weapons. Bottles filled with Hydrogen Dioxide a well known corrosive that were being thrown at police. Last year alone this dangerous chemical was responsible for 788 fatalities in the US alone.

Pepper spray (also known as capsaicin spray or capsicum spray) is a lachrymatory agent (a chemical compound that irritates the eyes to cause a burning sensation, pain, and temporary blindness) used in policing, riot control, crowd control, & self-defense.

Lachrymatory: LITERARY relating to, tending to cause, or containing tears. Totally not tear gas.

Pepper spray immediately closes my throat and I have asthma. I am sure in a large enough dose it would kill me. Between COVID and the careless use of pepper spray I have been forced to sit the current protests out near me.
