UPDATE: DHS tells me that after the girl and her father were detained, they were taken to a facility “where water was available.” Later, the father told CBP agents that his daughter "was sick with a fever and vomiting."https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/12/14/18140697/guatemalan-girl-dehydration-death-border-patrol-custody-dhs …

Dear
@SecNielsen, We all know that child did not die on the journey. She died in US custody, after US gov officials made absolutely no attempt to help her. Your response is despicable. Sincerely, America -

They survived the journey to the US. It was the US that killed her.

Nielsen is a human rights violator. She must be investigated and tried for her crimes.

@secnielsen has made a pact with the devil. She has chosen to stick with the devil. She, like KAC and SHS, will never survive their roles in this admin. Corruption & lies are not attractive career skills. Their cards are marked.

Of course, if the children would just stay and die in war and cartel zones, often created by the US, their deaths won't be in the news and we can happily ignore them.

And they should starve to death quietly in the countries we are bombing, or helping others bomb. Why should we have to see the people whose countries we helped to destroy?
