Really ? So anyone can open up a Youtube channel to talk about whatever they want? Are you a boomer or just have the mentality of one?

You can open up a YouTube channel to talk about what COMPANIES will pay advertising revenue for. If you can't provide that then YouTube doesn't give a shit about you. That's just the sad reality. Cope.

LOL. Don't be dumb. If it has viewers - there is money to be made.

If Pepsi, Volvo, or StateFarm refuse to put their name next to it, the views are worthless. Because no one is paying for them.

The people viewing will pay! Do you not understand the use of adblockers will only grow, if no one is seeing Volvo's ad how are they making money? Unless youtube lies about their analytics eventually ad revenue will shrink. I like kicking a buck to the guys I like live steaming.

Me too, but now how will YouTube profit off of this? They can't advertise on that person's videos. If this person is leeching bandwidth off YT and making their own money on Patreon, what's the incentive for YouTube to keep propping them up?

They don't pay that cash out immediately, and I'm sure they take a cut. So, I can imagine if they collectively had super chats sitting in an account drawing interest and taking a cut, Profit can be made. Again, More ad blockers means less advertisement dollars.

I still think it isn't consistent enough to convince some boomer investor versus income straight from other companies. Maybe if internet ads become completely unreliable YouTube will relax on all the rules they've been making up to appeal to the advertisers.
