is a Federal regulation and everything (1 example) you linked was regarding State regulations to protect franchise agreements. Come on, cite CFR. Look at regulated industries like healthcare and finance. They have entire chapters in CFR. This is just FUD. -
And these protectionist state regs mostly protect the medium that information is transmitted to homes in an area. Many locations have franchise agreements to be the only “cable” provider. Tell me how I, starting my own ISP say using 900Mhz and commodity hardware, would be “heavily regulated”, as mentioned numerous times in that podcast? Where are the small ISPs advocating against

? Your claim is it would hurt those ISPs.
