I've noticed something interesting since I started learning how to draw. People highlight mistakes you make as if you're oblivious to them.
You'll show them a drawing, one spot such as the hand won't be perfect, and they'll say, "The hand looks a little messed up."

That would be like telling someone who's learning to play basketball, "You missed the shot" after they missed. No doubt the shooter knows.

But with art, the viewer will tell you the parts you messed up as if they’re providing valuable insight.
