@atommorgan The majority of pros will always be the gender that makes up the majority of participants

@LeeshaHannigan So its purely the demographic of the participants of the sport? Not gender in any way?

@atommorgan If you already honestly believe that men are inherently better at gaming than women, there's nothing much I can say to you :/

@LeeshaHannigan Well..golf, bowling, pool, darts, car racing, etc. From an objective POV, I think testosterone is something to consider.

@atommorgan Testosterone doesn't give you magical gaming powers. Evil vagina voodoo magic similarly doesn't nerf your gaming powers.

@LeeshaHannigan I never said T = magical gaming powers. But research does show performance enhancing results. To ignore this is crazy.

@atommorgan Assuming that research had an extremely broad and diverse testing pool, considering how 'diverse' esports are?

@LeeshaHannigan Men and women are different. Not saying we should be treated differently by law but results & perf won't always be the same.

@atommorgan Absolutely - but men and 'other men' are different. Every single person is individual both psychologically and physiologically

@LeeshaHannigan Of course. That's why I'm speaking in general terms here. Men, in general, have higher levels of testosterone.

@LeeshaHannigan Also worth looking at min/median/max of various traits. Women tighter, towards median. Men often worst and best.

@atommorgan I reject the concept of making huge, broad, sweeping blanket statements about gender and performance in such vague terms.

@atommorgan Science is great, I have not seen any 'studies' - only a person on the internet vaguely referring to 'studies'.

@atommorgan And with barely any women participating this is a suuuper accurate method of observing gender based performance.

@LeeshaHannigan That was just a joke. But with this, and every other sport, how will we know when there's enough participation?
