Sage Sharp @_sagesharp_ accuses Ted Tso, a Linux board member, for being a rape apologist just days after Linux adopts the Contributor Covenant.
The cited evidence dates back to 2011 in an email list for Linux Conf AU.pic.twitter.com/RYKJJfLWwS

Tso elaborates to clarify his interoperation of the data with this statement: "I am not diminishing what rape is, and or any particular person's experience. However, I *am* challenging the use of statistics that may be hyperbolic and misleading"
Continuing on rape and consent Tso says: "given that the survey was asking undergraduates...do you think that perhaps the numbers might be skewed by cases where both parties were drunk (and thus not legally able to know whether someone was legally able to give consent)?"
Again, Tso clarifies why he's making these statements. You may not agree with his interpretation of this data but he wrote it in a civil manner, citing the same studies that were presented by others.pic.twitter.com/0pXwWOGWkB
He even warns others of "anti-feminist ranting". "There is quite a bit of anti-feminist ranting in the article, which you should try to ignore while looking at the arguments"http://geekfeminism.wikia.com/wiki/Rape_apology_on_LCA_mailing_list/Email_1 …
