As a libertarian, I'm perfectly open to the idea of democratic socialism. Considering how popular the idea is, it could be a legitimate outcome in a voluntary, libertarian society. I support the outcome as long as it's through voluntary means.https://twitter.com/VibeHi/status/1013765151751892992 …
Even this? What's basically a donation?https://twitter.com/atommorgan/status/1013776320445276161?s=21 …

That's CHARITY, NOT SOCIALISM. please please please do some actual research.
-
What could also be referred to as democratic, voluntary socialism lol.
-
It's not voluntary though. A majority voted to force others to "donate". How is it voluntary to people who don't want to "donate"?
-
I wouldn't agree with that. I provided an example.
-
Your example is voluntary. Democratic socialism is not.
-
That's why my use of Democratic Socialism was misunderstood. In between those words are "voluntary, market created". I have no issues with socialist-ish businesses where participation is voluntary.
-
It's not socialism. Period.

If you want to dontate, do it out of the kindness of your heart. A donation has nothing to do with socialism. It is a personal choice, whereas in a socialist society, it wouldn’t be. Please understand the difference.
-
I guess you missed the voluntary part of my thread
-
I guess you missed that any form of Socialism is by its very nature involuntary.
