This nonsense is but is one reason why young children need to be with their moms and not warehoused during the day.

I was sick for 4 years when our daughter was in daycare, haven't been sick in the 10 years since. She has the strongest immune system I've ever seen, only strep throat gets her once in a while and that's a virus so no immunity helps.

The first year my daughter was in day care was the sickest of our entire family history. One of the three of us was sick at any given time. My mother nearly died after spending an afternoon at Grandparent’s Day festivities at the same day care. No joke.

This is a good thing if your child has opted out of unnesary vaccines , I did this and it was fine
-
There's no such thing as unnecessary vaccines. Google what measles is like. Polio. Tetanus. Google how many kids died here in the US of whooping cough. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS UNNEEDED VACCINES. Hell, we even have a vaccine that prevents cancer now!

That's because they are unvaccinated,fool!
-
That's not why kids in daycares tend to get sick. Most daycares require proof of vaccination. The reason why so many kids get sick is because they aren't the best at hygiene, they stick stuff in their mouths, their immune system hasn't experience illness.
