If Trump's impeached, or loses a 2nd term, or is even implicitly threatened w/ impeachment b/c the Dems win a majority, it's scary to think how they might react. He's not just the leader of the country to them, he's THEIR god-king, the 2nd coming. Relatedly--what's wrong w/ them?

i’m just as afraid of what will happen if the blue wave washes over washington as i am of what will happen if it doesn’t. he’s already threatening executive orders—who’s to say what liberties he’ll take. i’ve honestly never had so much anxiety about gov’t in my life.
-
Same. But I do think we'll be worse off if the GOP maintains their majority. He'll see it as permission to take even greater license. At least if the Dems get a majority we'll be able to confront it, whatever happens.
-
ultimately, that’s what i hope happens. just cast my vote in WI hoping to get rid of scott walker, and hoping for the best

He’s done more things that he promised he would do when he ran than anyone else I know of...I don’t think he lied.
-
He has lied more than any other president in history & his broken promises are legion. Remember better, cheaper healthcare for all? Wall construction would begin day one & be paid for by Mexico? He would rarely golf & never take vacations? Repealing the ACA? Drain the swamp?
-
Lol tough to get things done when the democrats slow down the process.
-
You really don't understand how this works, do you? The GOP has the White House and a majority in both houses of Congress.
-
Who gave the dramatic thumbs down on repealing Obamacare even though he campaigned for reelection on getting rid of it?
-
John McCain. An American hero. If the Senate had followed regular order and if they had a reasonable replacement, a new health care bill could have sailed thru both houses. But the GOP forgot the "replace" part of their "repeal & replace" mantra.

I wonder how Mr. Obama's supporters would answer if asked about his *fib* regarding the ACA?
-
They'd groan and roll their eyes at you acting like you're the first person in the past eight years to bring it up, then point out that Obama didn't account for the possibility that insurance companies would screw people over by changing networks and plans around.
-
I find it fascinating, and quite telling that Trumpers when confronted with the literally thousands (6000+)of lies Trump has said in 2yrs ,the only ONE that comes to mind regarding Obama's 8 yrs is the misque about the ACA & insurance plans. Which by the way they want to keep now!
-
Let us not forget how the Republicans purposefully gutted the ACA so it would not work as intended and then bitched about how awful and damaging it was.
-
Indeed, then in desperation claiming they would protect pre-existing conditions, while at the same time continuing the lawsuits to remove pre-existing conditions coverage!
-
As a former old-school journalist, I believe politicians of all stripes should be held accountable for what they promise the masses.

Can we say Cult? Brainwashing? Do women leave their brains at the door of a Trump Rally? And how could any female find Trump anything but repulsive? Does not compute. My guess is these women have a psychological attraction to abusive authoritarian men. They need lots of therapy.
-
They interviewed some of these women at the rally last night. They said he makes them feel 'protected.' I don't get that. I'm white and old. He gives me the creeps. He's been accused of multiple sexual assaults. WTF?
-
Trump portrays himself as hero/savior to them as many narcissists do to women. Blinded, they can’t see his unfaithfulness to all his wives; the way he has uses women for his own desires. Or abuses them, calls them names of animals is they disagree with him. Crazy phenomenon.
