Translation: "Levi has no chance and I'm not gonna attach my name to his inevitable failure"

Sanders allowed the press to misrepresent who Levi's mother was for decades in the press. He didn't correct the record until 2015. He was, by all accounts, a deadbeat dad. Article also doesn't state Carina had financial support from Our Revolution & did an ad that used Bernie.
-
Jeff Weaver also threw Levi under the bus when he told press that "Levi doesn't know much, TBH," at the start of campaign. It should also be noted that Dave Driscoll - the other son - was given the job of running the Sanders Institute. He worked for aa snowboarding company prior.

That's what integrity looks like, Democrats.
-
This is what a deadbeat dad looks like
-
just because he doesn't want to endorse his son for good reasons that he explained clearly, it doesn't make him a deadbeat dad lol
-
He was literally a deadbeat dad tho
-
Never had a job until 40! that's integrity.
-

Also Bernie: Don’t hone in on my grift of $27 buckers, son. I’m not done w them yet.
-
A grift is when people are bilking you. You may not like Bernie or his politics, but accusing him of a grift is wholly unwarranted. If you want to know how he spends his donations, look up his campaign finance reports.
-
He is a grifter.
-
He’s an honest politician who has spent almost half a century advocating for good government and to get the $$$ it of politics. You just don’t like him. But there’s nothing to back up your position as far as actual facts.
-
It wasn't "honest" when he lied for months about a "path to victory," and had Weaver stoke implausible hopes of the supers overturning the votes of the primary. I think about the divisiveness that spawned every time I see news of the kids being ripped from parents at the border.
-
And, as another famous grifter, he won’t release his taxes. I do not trust him. He hasn’t earned trust. He is a fake.

Yet he did endorse his son in Feb 2018. https://bfpne.ws/2oBKqge pic.twitter.com/kYdkG4GVUj

That’s not an endorsement
-
Words mean things, you know.
-
Exactly.
-
Saying he's proud of his son isn't an endorsement.
-
What's the technical definition of an endorsement? Does he have to literally say "I endorse so and so"?
-
I mean it either does that or includes some sort of call to action for the endorsers supporters. Being proud or complimenting a candidate isn't an endorsement.
