I picked up #Atari50 for PS4 while I wait for the VCS version to drop. The presentation, scans, interviews, & emulation are all fantastic. There are several hours of content to explore. It's truly like an interactive museum exhibit. Amazing work from & !

Atari 50 is out today, and I bought it on Steam. It's very well done, with lots of history info and plenty of great games, including Atari 800 and Atari Jaguar! Great job

BUT
Man, I miss the days when sports games had a few buttons and were crazy easy pick up and play. Time marches on but it was fun while it lasted! Thanks 50!

The #Atari50 collection might be one of the greatest compilations ever. Beyond some classic games, including stuff from Lynx and Jaguar on modern machines for the first time, the retrospective videos are great. People who programmed games in those days were on a different level.

Who had an Atari Jaguar? Not years after the fact. I mean "in the prime of its existence, who purchased an Atari Jaguar?" Who totally bought into that (admittedly clever) "DO THE MATH!" ad campaign? I've never of heard anyone who actually did! I want to hear about it!

It stands to reason you can write a book about literary history, movie about movie history, but the game *about* game history versus being just a collection is hard to come by. Atari 50 is sublime in its presentation.

Man, the new 50 by is just delightful and sets the bar for retro collections. It's not just a bunch of great old games (altho it is that). It's a walk thru a museum of one of the coolest, most influential companies in entertainment. They better make more!

I've spent some time with #Atari50 over the past week and it's a really awesome collection. I love its timeline structure, which makes it the most comprehensive retro game collection since Rare Replay. and knocked it out of the park.
