I get the fun behind it of course, but sometimes it’s like leave it to the professionals, take your kids to a show and give them some sparklers to join in on the fun but otherwise meh. Clean up after yourselves at least

Fireworks suck.
They’re annoying, they scare and confuse animals, & sloppy people with their crappy department store firework displays just end up littering + leaving behind their firework casings all over parks for someone else to clean up. Over it.

right?! I was at port credit yesterday and there were firework casings all over the beach, I made sure to clean it all up before I left and then at midnight I heard more being set off
