Our current targets we are trying to get light curves of to find rotation periods for (and For Science!) are being jerks and keep aiming for stars...

it’s not a small sample size, it’s small-batch, artisanal data

Bryan Holler giving update on small body observation opportunities. Spec is 30 milliarcsec(mas)/sec (about Mars's rate); will be testing 45 and 60mas/s rate to get long-period comets and some . For spectroscopy, slits are 0.2" and 0.5" wide - update ephems!

Barbee: Much more data can be gathered from rendezvous than flyby missions but there are less launch opportunities. Much harder to get rotation and material properties in a flyby,; also doesn't stay at to act as gravity tractor/position updates

Barbee: uncertainties in properties such orbital state and mass may be very large in early stages of hazard mitigation planning. Priority order: 1 Orbit (will it hit and where) 2 Mass 3 Is it a binary 4 Shape (w/ mass->density) 5 Material strength 6 Internal structure
