    If it's too late to adjust the extended mission cadence, I hope that future extensions will adopt different cadences that aim specifically to break these solution degeneracies caused by Nyquist aliasing! [5/5]

    I would love to hear what the TESS community thinks! I hear that having the new cadence be exactly 1/3 of the original cadence helps exoplanet science. I think phase sampling would improve with the suggested cadence change to improve transit profile and timing measurements. [4/5]

    With the 10-min cadence as planned, frequency solutions for TESS observations of many variable stars will be ambiguous, putting a strain on follow-up observing facilities and limiting some science results to those researchers with abundant telescope access. [3/5]

    This figure shows how Nyquist aliases appear at the same locations for both 30- and 10-min cadences since one is a precise multiple of the other, yet a different (e.g., 11-min) cadence could eliminate all Nyquist ambiguities across the combined TESS data set. [2/5]

    The ELM Survey found and characterized such an interesting population of extremely low-mass white dwarfs that formed through binary mass transfer. It has been the starting point for much of my work. Congrats on the 8th and final paper!

    Any undergrads want a paid summer internship at ? Our group is looking for 5 awesome people to help us find and study planets with TESS. I can nearly guarantee you'll discover a new exoplanet if you want to work on the search side! It's a thrill that never fades!

    Howe et al. "The uncovered shift... of ~25 µHz, translates to an uncertainty of 0.8 per cent in radius and 2.4 per cent in mass... results flag the need for caution when using ν_max in asteroseismology." Very useful work, helps quantify extrinsic measurement uncertainties!
