What was the other comment, besides the Siri comment? Even if it was a "joke" and like racist "jokes" they need to be called out.

Look for the last video on my timeline

Sorry can't find it

Thanks for finding these clips and circulating.
-
Ha! I edited them myself from the livestream. Hard to get them down to 45 seconds.
-
Sending even more gratitude your way, then!

He said "...I was told [that we trust male voices more]". That's not the same as saying he believed it
-
...and it's not endorsing it
-
I'm happy to be corrected if I've mis-interpreted this
-
I understand that he was told and that he agree with that so he put a male voice.
-
Nobody asked him where he got his info from. It could've been from some research on unconscious bias he'd read/been told about. Who knows?
-
He later said it was a joke. I don't know if he believes it or not, but I personally did not find it particularly funny.
-
So he admits he told a sexist joke? Case closed
-
Yes, though he probably did not think it was sexist (maybe?). Ah, well...

Is it just me? But there were 4 other people on stage but she only singled out 1 of them for not calling him out for his comment?
-
She's an astroohysicust, so she singled out the only other astrophysicist on the panel. We expect better from our best.
-
I took some time to think about that arguement and don't think that matters. Everyone in that stage should have been called out.
