    Cancel all of their student loans so that teachers can quit their second jobs

    I know so many teachers are feeling under resourced and overworked. We must work with local and state leaders to provide our teachers with classroom assistance and bring new teachers into the field. If our teachers are burned out, then we need to change the way we operate.

    we've been saying the fight to cancel student debt is about more than student debt. it's an inroad to deeper questions about our whole political economy. people in power agree, and that's why the guns are coming out.

    idk if y'all are seeing this but editorial boards are literally having a meltdown right now because working people might actually get a bailout

    I’m grateful to for annotating this awful NYT editorial against canceling student debt—but it’s also telling that the editorial begins by noting that student debt is causing generational harm, before saying it shouldn’t be canceled 🤬
