Just about to start season 3. Try Lost In Space reboot as well, it grows on you.

Very different scifi subgenres, LiS definitely has quality written all over it, but I was mostly put off by the reboot factor. I’ll give it a try.

Is the acting any better?

Same actors, there’s rising political drama and I mostly like their chops & interplay. But if you were dissatisfied by the output in previous seasons, it’s not too different in this one.

Thanks, I'll give it another try

Have you seen Altered Carbon? It’s very good. I’m also enjoying the upgraded Lost In Space, which is getting into the detail of surviving on an unexplored planet.
-
Ohh, that sounds like fun. Haven't seen a thing, too busy but workload might be dropping enough that I can actually watch an episode here and there. :)

The plotting is pretty trite, but they’ve given thought to the science and the acting is top notch. Even the cute young women are very good actors (unlike AC, where the kick-ass babe is the only dud) and that *never* used to happen.

The power struggles depicted in this show are so close to reality, even the way they decide to use weapons and that results in collateral damage, common folk paying the price as usual. That's the sci-fi I like, a critique of reality with futurist wrapping around it.
