Confession. The last marvel movie I saw was Iron Man I think? Maybe The Hulk with Ed Norton? I've watched a few different TV show episodes but haven't finished a whole series.

I definitely haven't seen any of the Avengers Movies all the way through. Maybe a bit of one? There's a flying ship and someone has a fight in a lift?

Great catch-up, if you're in need of one https://twitter.com/screenjunkies/status/988115615264063488 … otherwise, individual Honest Trailers summarize each movie pretty well. Some solid standouts, and major flops, but you have to buy into the overall conceit of the franchise to some extent to enjoy.

I will add that the MCU is way more palatable than the DCU overall, w few exceptions, but both franchises exude the same problematic first world outlook the originals did.

Which batman was it where the key plot point was Wayne enterprises was spying on everyone secretly and he was still supposed to be the hero? I stopped watching after that.

That was the middle of the Nolan trilogy. I still liked that one, though it dragged on too long. The 3rd one was mostly unbearable.https://www.cinemablend.com/new/Dark-Knight-Plotline-Christopher-Nolan-Thought-Was-Way-Too-Far-Fetched-68149.html …
