Brazilian politics are so f'd up I can't even. One solid takeaway though is that fascists will always exploit politics being undermined by corruption. (If you're a leftist party in power after decades of a brutal military junta, good idea to just say no to corruption.)

He should, though the impeachment process is (more) political than legal, and he still holds the majority of both chambers. Dilma was unable to keep her majority, so she lost. And Lula's suffering the reflex of his poor choices (such as nominating Dilma).
