Can't say for sure - it's an important data point but Bozdag's classification is unclear. If he's talking about renditions, it's way more countries and people than I counted before.

If he's including deportations (maybe where MIT was involved behind the scenes) he's undercounting the numbers of people involved probably, but maybe adding some countries.

Appreciate the insights. I'm afraid the list might be longer, critical work to document the purge (esp. w Kurds, anti-war academics & journalists added to the mix again).

If it includes deportations, the number is likely in the hundreds, at least. There have been some countries where dozens of people were deported en masse after visas/residence permits were revoked.
