That is exactly what I like about recorded music…it evokes a live performance or the milieu in which I first heard a piece. As long as fidelity isn’t too awful, it satisfies. I expect more, am working on s/w for more, from my pics. But even thumbnails meet 90% of needs

I'm pretty good at triggering memory based on mere fragments, but that's not enough for modern photography, either as an artform, family record or historical medium. I feel as if I'm already working w faded archaeological finds.
